We Are Hiring!

Like most other businesses, we’ve had to make some changes during 2020 and 2021. But our office-based teams are happiest when working alongside colleagues in one of our three UK locations, our office in Pennsylvania or our factory in China.

The Stiltz Recruitment Model

At the heart of everything we do are our people. It’s our people who have made us award-winning market leaders and we want to continue with our amazing growth and success. So, if you’re passionate, innovative and value working with a truly supportive bunch of people; come and be part of our team.

Whether it’s your first step on the ladder, or you’re an experienced professional who’s looking for a new place to shine – our goal is to drive the business forward by finding the best talent and connect with great people.

Our Recruitment Process

We appreciate job searching is not easy task – it’s almost a full-time job in itself! We also recognise that most people don’t know what happens behind the scenes once they submit their CV. It often feels like it goes into a black hole. So here’s what will happen once you forward your application to Stiltz.

Simple, transparent and smooth – we believe recruitment is a two-way process. We want to make sure we hire the best person for the job, and you want to make sure Stiltz and the career opportunity on offer is the right choice for you.

Once you submit your CV and covering letter to jobs@stiltz.co.uk it will go directly to our Recruitment Specialist. It doesn’t get filtered through an applicant tracking system, it gets reviewed by a real person.

Apply

You can apply quickly and easily by forwarding your CV and a covering letter to Jobs@stiltz.co.uk.  You can find a list of our current jobs here.

Review

All applications will be reviewed by our Recruitment Specialist and the role’s Hiring Manager. If the candidate is a good fit, we will be in touch to schedule a time for an initial screening call. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll make sure we let you know, by email.

Interview

We will make contact to arrange to have a 15-minute chat about the role, explain our recruitment process to you and ask a few preliminary questions to help us both understand if we’re a match made in heaven. You’ll be chatting with our HR Specialist, Lisa!

If we both agree you’re a good fit, we will send your profile across to the Hiring Manager for review.  Once the Hiring Manager has confirmed interest, we will move you along as quickly as we can to our interview process.

Now you’ve got to know us a little bit better, it’s time for you to meet the Hiring Team. Depending on the role this may be either by telephone or face to face.

Keep Going, You’re Almost There!

The last stage of our recruitment process will involve a meeting with other members of the Hiring team or, depending on the scope/seniority of the role, with a Director. We’ll talk you through the role and check your understanding of what’s expected of you in your chosen role, answering any questions you might have and asking any outstanding questions we might have too.

We want to ensure you are happy with the role and that you have all the skills required to thrive at Stiltz.  This is a fantastic opportunity for you to shine, don’t be afraid to impress us with your best examples and blow your own trumpet!

Job Offer!

If we feel you would be successful, and you feel the same about us – this is the exciting part where we make you a job offer. We will contact you in person, confirm our offer verbally and then send you an employment contract, speak to you about your induction and agree your start date.

We’ll stay in touch throughout the process, guiding you through the pre-employment process. We’ll make sure everyone’s clear on next steps and you have all the information you need.

Welcome to Stiltz Homelifts!
