An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation Engineer based in the Swindon, Wiltshire area to join our growing Home Lift Installation Team.

What you will do:

You will be part of our Installation/Build team based in Swindon covering Wiltshire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for installing our award winning through-floor domestic home lifts in our customers’ homes.

What are we looking for?

You will offer a good level of electro-mechanical experience. Ideally an experienced installer / technician within a similar industry sector.

  • Ability to demonstrate mechanical / electrical competence – testing/ fault diagnosis level on electro/mechanical products.
  • Proven track record of service and maintenance of electro/mechanical products in the field.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.
  • Basic IT proficiency – able to use a PDA (hand held tablet)
  • Flexibility – willing to travel (overnight stays will be required)

Due to working within our customers’ homes you will require a DBS check which the company will undertake.

As a company vehicle is provided with this role, a valid full UK driving licence is also essential.

As an Installation Engineer you will be:

  • Resourceful, efficient and well organised.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.

We would welcome applications from Installers, Installation Engineers, Service Engineers or Mechanically minded Technicians with electrical / electro- mechanical knowledge or working with similar mobility products. Or maybe you are an experienced multi-trades professional with an electrical background.
